For WorkSmart’s inaugural in-person retreat for 100 of the top Black entrepreneurs, CEO Spring Break, the team at WorkSmart hired Modern Innovation Production to capture behind-the-scenes footage of the 2-day experience, prep and produce testimonial interviews of attendees and speakers and produce sponsor-specific content.

Our Approach
Preparation, flexibility, and keeping our eyes open for the spontaneous high-energy moments were key to the success of this project. Having producers, photographers camera operators, our creative director, and an on-site editor allowed us to capture the key moments of the weekend, planned and unplanned, as well as allow us to turn around same-day recap edits and the final edits in record time to keep the weekend going.
